We are excited to share a chapter of Jacs & Hil Design, a home remodel chronicle. Jacs and I both recently had the opportunity to remodel our houses. We will be walking through the process of individual rooms in detail in different posts, but will give you a photo overview of all the work here. Check back regularly as we will be frequently updating with pictures of the journey and adding inspiration boards to spur on your own creativity as you design and style your own home.
It’s been a long, but fun process and hopefully you can gather some inspiration from the journey of a home remade.
Jac’s house started as a single level, ranch style craftsman home built in the 40’s. We added an upstairs loft, den, remodeled our master bathroom, and added a walk-in closet to the master bedroom.

Hil recently purchased a ranch style home built in the 60’s. It was in original condition when she moved in and by refinishing floors, remodeling the kitchen and bathrooms, and painting walls and doors, she made their farmhouse house style home feel warm, welcoming, and bright.
